CURSE SHOUT AND WRITE

This couple weeks lately has been a menswear fashion’s week season in over the world. And it still goes until mid-February I think. This fashion week’s season made me wanted to write some models’ profile, or maybe my dream-list models for my future runway show, LOL. FYI, I’ve written this kindda thing before in here.

First, Clement Chabernaud. He was born French, Paris in 1989. He began his career in June 2005 for Dior Homme spring collection in Paris. Then he became the face of the brand for four consecutive seasons, all shot by Willy Vanderperre. He was also the face of Jil Sander for several seasons which means his epicene features became instantly recognizable in every men’s magazine on the market. He appeared in many editorial photo-shoots like Zoo, W, Vogue Hommes International, and many more.

He’s currently #3 Top 50 Male Models according Models.com. Recently he walked for a dozen of fashion houses like Dries Van Noten, Dsquared², Ermenegildo Zegna, Salvatore Ferragamo etc in Milan. He was also in Acne, Paul Smith, Dries Van Noten, and Viktor & Rolf in Paris for F/W 2012 menswear collection.

Josh Beech. This British model was born in Biggin Hill, London in 1986. He was scouted by Models 1 at a festival in Shoreditch in late 2007. His first debut was in February 2008 in London Fashion Week for the fall collection of Todd Lynn. Then he became the face of Burberry in February. Later, simultaneous bookings by Dazed & Confused, Vogue Hommes International shot by Hedi Slimane and Levi’s 501 Jeans - for which Josh has shot a record 3rd consecutive campaign - consolidated his reputation. In 2011, he became the face of John Galliano, alongside Ginta Lapina.

Beech’s main passion is music. After school, he became an apprentice at Tanglewood- a British company famous for its state-of-the art acoustic guitars. He later enrolled in a Music Technology course at London’s Hammersmith College. He joined a several bands like Cacophony, Snish and Hildamay. But right now he’s focusing on his newest band, Josh Beech and The Johns. Josh’s musical influences are rooted in rock - he names The Deftones, The Beatles, The Chariot, Paul Simon, Poison The Well, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, Incubus, Ray Charles and Nirvana as sources of inspiration.

He may be one of the top male models, but it looks like his main focus is on his band. He’s currently #11 Top 50 Male Models according Models.com.

OK, maybe I already mentioned this name a lot! Francisco Lachowski. He was born on May 13th 1991 in Brazil. He’s a popular model, who rose to fame shortly after winning Supermodel Brazil in 2008. His first walk was in Paris for Dior Homme, as an exclusive. Later, he was also became the face of the brand. He has walked for numerous shows including Versace, Dolce & Gabanna, D Squared, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Mugler, Armani and many more and opened for shows such as Ermanno Scervinno. Alongside this he has appeared in high fashion editorials for GQ, V, Vogue and FHM. Eventually, this young man has an enormous and a legion of fans! Me, one of them, lol.

Cicco -his nick name- is currently #16 Top 50 Male Models according Models.com, and it’s a highest rank for the Brazilians models out there. Last week he was in Paris Fashion Week for John Galliano F/W 2012. He was also in Milan for several designers like Etro, Emporio Armani and Frankie Morello.

Nicolas Ripoll. He was born in Argentina in 1988. He debuted as an opening and closing the spring Prada show in Milan, as an exclusive. He has been a designer favourite for the past several seasons. He also worked with renowned photographers such as Willy Vanderperre, Karim Sadli, and Paolo Roversi. In 2010 he became the face of Sisley, a Benetton Group brand, oriented in fashion which established in 1974. He also featured in some editorial magazine like Vogue Hommes International, Wallpaper and Velvet.

Ripoll is known for his pout. He’s also an aspiring photographer. He befriends with Simon Nessman, Jacob Coupe, etc. He’s currently #25 Top 50 Male Models according Models.com. He was being active recently in Milan and Paris fashion week. In Milan he walked for Moschino, Iceberg, Dolce&Gabbana, and many more. In Paris he was in Hermes, John Galliano, Thom Browne, etc.

River Delfin Canomanuel Viiperi, also known as River Viiperi. He was born on August 4 1991 in Ibiza, Spain. This new-comer was urged by his mother to pursue modelling, and signed with Major Models, Paris in 2009. He was an exclusive for Calvin Klein Fall/Winter 2010 and also opened the show. His career has since been heating up, appearing in numerous editorials. He has starred in campaigns for Bershka, American Eagle and AE Jeans. From his first shoot with Hedi Slimane to his current showcase in the cK One campaign, River’s rise is nothing short of spectacular. Right now, Viiperi becomes the face of Versace for H&M for the second season.

He interests in soccer, swimming, and martial arts. He’s currently #28 Top 50 Male Models according Models.com. Couple weeks ago he was in Versace, Frankie Morello, Dolce&Gabbana and Corneliani runway for F/W 2012 Menswear in Milan, and he’ll be in Barcelona this week for the menswear fashion week’s season.

Last but not lease, another Brazilian model, Alexandre Cunha. He was born in Brazil in 1988. He’s known for his killer abs and his smile. He was being scouted while rode a bus. His debut was in 2009 while he walked for Dolce&Gabbana spring collection in Milan. He appeared in several magazines like Hercules and Japanese Essential Homme. In this 2012, he becomes the face of Bottega Veneta and Armani Exchange. Possessing a versatile range of talent, has been cast in several shoots, where he has been everything from smoldering and infectious to brooding. From the catwalk of D&G to Vivienne Westwood, Alexandre shines and proves to be unstoppable.

This raising star interests in listening to Bob Marley, playing the guitar, and soccer. He walked for Canali, Moncler Gamme Bleu, Bottega Veneta, Frankie Morello, Roberto Cavalli, Corneliani and D&G recently for F/W 2012 Menswear in Milan.
